Our short handle bag size is 42x42cm, Handle 1.5cm wide by 2 x 25cm, our long handle bag is 42x42cm, Handle 2cm wide by 2 x 52cm. Weight: Short handle; 58grams - Long handle; 85 grams, when not in use they neatly roll up 
to the approx size of an average fist.
Tested to hold 14kgs, so please be careful when lifting heavy bags and be aware of your limitations. The specifications for the bags in the other series vary slightly from the information given here, and are given on each products page.
As with all things, the more care you take when washing your bags, the longer they will last. However, cotton is a hardy material and either a 20 degree hand wash or machine wash, followed by a line dry will be fine.

an you supply organic cotton products?
Yes,we manufacture bags made from Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) organic cotton.
The organic textile standards has been the development of the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) that begun the process of harmonizing all the different and slightly varying organic textile standards. The Global Organic Textile Standard was developed by the International Working Group on the Global Textile Standard as part of the International Conference on Organic Textiles (INTERCOT). The Global Organic Textile Standard is a collaborative effort between the Organic Trade Association, Soil Association, International Association Natural Textile Industry (IVN), and the Japan Organic Cotton Association (JOCA). GOTS is intended to allow organic textile manufacturers to export their organic fabrics and garments using this one certificate that will be accepted in all the major world markets. Before, manufacturers needed different certificates to market into different countries.
The global market is still ruled by a half dozen slightly varying standards that are generally similar in intent and purpose. Efforts such as the Global Organic Textile Standard are working to unify the differences in a way that will provide meaningful protection to the environment, all workers from the fields to the factories, and to the health and well-being of the consumer.
Can I ask for a sample?
Yes. There is no charge for samples, and sending them to you would be a pleasure; however, we do have to ask you to bear the cost of sending the sample. This is easily done by providing us your account number with FedEx, UPS or any international mailing company.
As you would appreciate globally we get hundreds of requests for free samples every month and it is just not economicial for us to pay for the sample and mailing costs. Experience has taught us that companies who are willing to pay for the mailing costs are the ones who will seriously appraise our bags. For companies that wish to develop an exclusive custom designed size and colour bag based on volumes, we will arrange for one of our managers to visit with you and assist in finalizing your desired specifcation.
Can I request a full sample set?
For those who are interested in doing business with us, we offer a sample set of our standard bags - 2 styles, 8 colours. This costs is just US$20, and as mentioned above you will have to meet the cost of delivery.
Do you offer discounts on volumes
Yes. Being the manufacturer the Cotton Shopping Bag Factory can offer you exceptional pricing on volume orders.
Example: 20ft GP Sea Container will hold up to approx 70 - 80,000 bags and is the most cost effective way to move volumes.
Can we supply small quantities?
Of course! Our list of global distributors is growing, and these companies have no problems in filling orders direct from their warehouse stock; for as few as 160 bags with a very quick turn around time.
What currency will we be quoted in?
All prices are quoted in US$.
What will the price include? Are there any hidden charges?
When you request a quote with us, we will send you an exact price for the goods including; C.I.F (cargo, Insurance & freight) - FCL (full container load) or LCL (limited container load) to your nearest shipping port for pick up. We recommend that you engage the services of a local freight forward company who will advise you on any additional customs and import duties that may add to the cost of goods entering your country. They will also provide you with local freight rates to get the goods from your local port to your business. We can also offer you a F.O.B - Port Shanghai (Free on Board) quote, should you wish to use your own freight forward company to organize the shipment of goods.
The cost of goods is made up of; number of colors, style and quantity you require.
Can you include my company name/logo/message printed onto the bags?
Yes; we have a number of ways to include these details on each product. (refer Menu - Products - Custom Design)
What if I want another style or something special developed? What if I need something lower priced?
If you don't see exactly what you are looking for in our standard sizes and colours, please tell us what you’d like and what your budget is! We can usually custom design a great solution for you. (Minimum quantities do apply)
Can I send you my design by email?
Yes. just send us a high resolution .JPG file. We will let you know if there are any issues with printing it.
One point of caution: We work with Windows compatible machines. So if you are sending us an image from a Mac compatible source, please save it to a format and with an extension that Windows can read.
What are my shipping options?
There are three main options for you to choose from: Sea shipment, airfreight and bulk courier (such as is offered by FedEx, UPS, and DHL etc)
Sea shipment usually takes about 4 to 6 weeks and is the cheapest for quantities larger than 1000 bags.
Airfreight usually takes anywhere between10 and 12 days and costs more than sea shipment.
Bulk Courier services take about 4 to 6 days, and usually does cost more (for small quantities, however this option can work out cheaper with consolidated freight rates. Ask and we'll be happy to provide the most cost effective solution for you.
Some clients prefer the bulk courier option because these guys take care of customs and all the local import formalities included in bringing your shipment to your doorstep for you. When you order by sea or airfreight you may need to use a customs broker or freight forwarder to clear the goods and arrange for local delivery to you. This differs from country to country, so do inquire.
Are there any other costs involved?
Most Governments do charge some import/customs duty on the bags. This is usually a small amount, averaging around 5 - 7% of the value in most countries. As mentioned above, your local Customs Agent or Freight Forward company will be able to confirm with you all local charges. Remember to advise them that all bulk orders for our goods are delivered C.I.F (Inco Term) nearest shipping port.
